Andersen got it right! Home plate was originally at the Felton Grove ball field (where Felton Bible Church is now.) The baseball field was converted to a softball field to avoid broken windows of neighboring cabins. Later, the ball park was moved to the field near the entrance to Henry Cowell Park. Bill Wright donated home plate to the Felton Fire house where it was laid to rest in the floor (as seen in photos below.)
