Felton History: Old Felton Post Office ca. 1930’s

I believe this photo of the old Felton Post Office was taken circa 1930’s and was next door to the original Roy’s market, which was across the street from the later Roy’s before New Leaf took over.

My great aunt, Thelma Halley (Fetherston), was postmistress around this time (late twenties).

Hi Tammy! Thanks for sharing that. I didn’t know. I’m just putting together a small photo display for the Felton Covered Bridge Park kiosk. It’s about the 1918 Felton Red Cross fete held on the Felton school grounds. One of the photos has Florence Fetherston and Lora Susan DeWald manning one of the booths. Do you have any photos of your great aunt Thelma in or around Felton you’d be willing to send me for my blog?
